RCBC Savings Bank bag SSS award

Social Security System (SSS) conferred the 2009 Balikat ng Bayan Best Collecting Thrift Bank award to RCBC Savings Bank, Inc. during ceremonies at the SSS corporate headquarters in Quezon City on September 1.

RCBC Savings Bank, which collected a total of P1.12 billion in SSS payments through its network of 113 branches from January to December 2008, won by a wide margin with a high 98.99-percent rating. The bank posted a perfect 100-percent rating when it won the under the same category last year. The SSS Balikat ng Bayan award is given annually to the best commercial, thrift and rural collecting banks based on their yearly SSS collections, volume of transactions and coverage.
